C6 Adapter bracket fab question.

So I found the specs for the 1/2" steel plate to do the 12.8-inch C5 fronts, got the steel, got them laid out and ready for machining, then I learned about C6 13.2-inch brakes. My question is, does anyone know if I can just move the holes another 0.200-inch out?

Re: C6 Adapter bracket fab question.

I'm getting information that the bracket doesn't need altered because of the caliper carriers being different. Makes sense to me. GM wouldn't want to change a costly part when they could change a cheap part.

Re: C6 Adapter bracket fab question.

Are you referring to the 13.4" Z51 brakes. I am not aware of a 13.2" C6 rotor. If Z51, then yes, if you use the Z51 carrier, there is no need to modify your bracket.
