Hey guys before anyone shoots me for not doing a search please read the hole post. I'm in the middle of doing a bunch of work on my firebird. One of the the things I planed on doing was swapping in a 83 disc brake rear end as I have a complete parts car. However when I ordered my new callipers and rotors they came in as Pbr instead of cast iron.
Now I come to find out I can't send them back without a fee, I do some digging and turns out there the setup I should prob swap to anyway.
But I cannot for the life of me find any used calliper bracket/backing plates (Canada we apparently only keep current model years in scrap yards)
So I turn to the online word and

I get no answer or return phone calls/ see no email address to contact from flynbye performance (which seems to be normal on the vender board). Bigbrakeupgrade won't have any for at least a week maybe longer. And hawks has yet to return my email.
Is there anyone where else I can buy these from or dose anyone have some they can sell? I would even buy a blueprint to take to my local machine shop to have some made

Demand plus low volume manufacture probably going to be expensive. You have to pay or be patient and watch for deals. Have you tried craigslist etc.?

 

I found mine on eBay. Backing plates, calipers, used rotors, all for around $200 shipped to me. I would try there.
