I have a 91 rs that is constantly warping the rotors. Any one else have this problem? Or a solution? Ive tried different rotors from different companies and same thing every time.

Re: Warped rotors

Replace the calipers and slide bolts. Make sure you grease the new slides lightly on install. Probably should replace the rubber hoses too. Warped rotors are caused by too much heat, usually from a sticking caliper that keeps the pads in contact with the rotor instead of letting them pull back slightly when you release the brake pedal.

Maybe try some better pads too. Sometimes with cheaper pads, they can leave a buildup of pad residue on the rotors making them seem warped.
