99 blazer disc to 86 camaro

Engine: 67 327cu. dart II heads
Transmission: 700R4 2200 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.73 gears
99 blazer disc to 86 camaro

I have a 10 bolt from a 99s10 blazer with disc brakes. And i wanna switch the disc brakes off of it to my 10 bolt in my 86 camaro will they fit

Should be the same as ls1 f body brakes just a hair smaller.

Not unless the 86 had discs. And then you may need a spacer.

True, unless you modify ( trim and redrill ) the end flanges. That's what I did.

the disc rearends have different flanges.as i understand the later disc brakes will bolt on with a spacer.just what i read in this forum.flynby sells a bracket to install lsi brakes without modification.

He does sell a nice bracket. At the time I was too poor but had access to machine tools. Removed all the drum brake components ( worn to hell) made some measurements and center punch marks, then removed the top part of the flange and redrilled.

OP, if you are not comfortable with drills and cutoff wheels, do not modify the end flanges. You may screw yourself. Anything can be made to work with a lot of research and some experience.
