Still have a spongey pedal. suggestions
i have the ILE setup all around on my 84 camaro, ( swapped rears with disc brakes) new mater cylinder for the 4 wheel disc brakes setup, benched bled, bled all the lines, but still have a spongey pedal. any suggestions on what i should do next? I do have the correct proportioning valve. Ive read that sometimes the proportioning valve can trap air in it? does this seem like it could be the issue? The warm weather is here and hopefully i can get the issue resolved soon so i can get back to work on restoring my 71!
Thanks

soft pedal is the air. you can get soft pedals with worn rotors and pads also.

i bled all four corners starting with the furthest point just as youre supposed to do, also the pads and rotors are new. when bleeding them the fluid came out with any air in the lines after multiple pumps. Any other ideas?

some times the air with changing all these parts is hard to remove. try bleeding again. have engine running you will get more pressure. have long clear hose on bleed fitting. this way you can see any bubbles.

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it? If not, you can have a rough time getting the system bled correctly.
