Re: Who sells a rear caliper rebuild kit that fits a 87iroc?

Contacted Centric and found 14362008 to be the correct rear caliper rebuild kit# from them. Also work well for the iron rear caliper.

Re: Who sells a rear caliper rebuild kit that fits a 87iroc?

Found that both kits were correct. My calipers had the metal rings from the old seals stuck in the dust seal mounting area(rubber seal had seperated from the metal ring). Looked just like part of the caliper casting. I removed the metal rings with a small screwdriver and a hammer. Both kits worked well on the iron rear calipers and took no time to rebuild. Hope this info helps
someone.

If the PBR calipers are also common to the 4th gen, Hawks has these:

Recall kit for the delco moraine rear brakes. Includes everything needed for a caliper rebuild with the upgraded pistons that fixed some issues. Not sure if it's still available.

Part Number: 18019028 from GM Parts Direct, listed as "Actuator" and included parts for both rear calipers, pistons, springs, seals, etc.
