Run off the road - need to upgrade brakes
About 20 minutes ago I was cruising down the highway around 65-70 and had a riced out honda civic lock up his brakes in front of me. Car didn't slow down nearly quick enough and I had to take it into a ditch. Needless to say I don't want to have issues braking when I have my girlfriend or family in the car, and the last thing I want to do is rear-end some ******* when my car has no airbags. Anyone have any upgrade recommendations?

www.bigbrakeupgrade.com on the front; the LS1 setup (the Vettes are nice and all but the LS1 works just as good, just isn't as "cute")
A LS1 (98-02) complete rear end assembly in the rear

AFAIK no. Do the math: a 13" rotor (6.5" from center to edge) inside a wheel that's 15" (7.5" from center to inner edge of tire), minus the height of the wheel bead, minus the thickness of the wheel, minus clearance between the caliper and the wheel, minus caliper thickness, minus clearance from rotor to caliper...
Why would anybody want to run those old pizza-cutter things that you can't buy anything like modern competitive tires for anymore, anyway?

I've had extremely good success with the combo above. The price to value can't be beat. Only difference for your car would be that the front and rear brake pads would be the same part (D-154HD)
