Rear Disc Brake Pad Help

Hello Everyone:

Question: Are the pads below correct for a 1988 IROC with RPO code J65?
Or are they for 1LE or Corvette?
Thanks!

Those are standard on the rear for 89-97 f-body. And corvette from ?? till 96

sad but I'm Not 100% sure when the 1LE F-body started to use them.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Pad Help

If your car has the aluminum calipers, they are correct.

If yours are cast-iron, which is far more likely, then no, they are not the right ones.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Pad Help

Those are NOT J65 pads.

J65 uses MKD154 front and rear I believe.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Pad Help

All 82-92 four-wheel disc brake cars, regardless of caliper type (iron or alum) are RPO J65.
