Squeaking Problem on front brakes.
Squeaking Problem on front brakes.
I recently had a problem to where when I'm driving the driver side brake squeaks. As soon as I step on the brakes however it stops. I took off the wheel and checked them out. The pads and rotors seemed fine from what I saw but I used some brake cleaner on them anyway. The squeak is still there. Should I just replace the pads and rotors anyway or is there something else going on?

The pads usually have a little chirper on them. Its possible your pads are worn and the chiper is rubbing on the rotor making the squeak. If so, time to replace the pads.
