Brake switch install

I know my brake switch is bad and need to replace it. I got a new part from O'Reilly's and need to install this. My question is, does the old one just screw out because it has threads on it and does the new one go in the same way? Or do you simply pull the old one out and just push the new one in?

Re: Brake switch install

It basically pulls out and pushes back in. Adjust it by pushing it in until the button is fully depressed.
