E brake cable for 89 GTA disc rear into 91 Rs (drums)

I recently swapped out my 91 RS stock (purportedly 2.73) open diff with drum brakes for a 3.42 posi rear from an 89 GTA and upgraded my brakes to the PBR style as an added bonus! All is currently well with normal braking (although, a proportioning valve could likely help balance it out better); however, the issue is that until I find the appropriate hand-brake cables, I'm missing out on the emergency brake and I'm trying to determine what part to buy. I currently have the front and rear e-brake cables that came with the 91 RS still dangling there.

I've searched in brake tech and read in a number of threads that indicated that between 89-91 a number of factors affected which cable was appropriate (adjuster in tunnel vs. self adjust, differing connectors, etc, different mounting positions for brakets/equalizers), but my head is swimming at this point.

I think that I should just be using the appropriate cable for my year chassis equipped with the same brakes (as I understand the 91 camaros equipped with discs had the pbr's as well)?

Hawks as further confounded me by offering brake cables for 90 (only) and 91-92 in 1434mm and 1460m respectively. Is this difference because of mounting points and the front assembly or because of the rear? How long were the cables for the 89 GTA's? does it even matter?

Any clarity you folks can offer?
