Another drum > disk question...
I know this has been covered countless times. However I can't seem to find an answer I feel comfortable operating off of.
Currently I have an 85' TA with the 9 bolt Borg Warner/ open with 3.08 gears, and drums.
Im going to look at a 9 bolt, posi with 3.27s and disks this weekend. So if I am to just swap out my rear with this one, I would only have to change my e-brake cable, and proportioning value correct? Ive heard a few different opinions on this.
First post, thanks fellas

How exactly is that done? I would just need to swap out the speedo gear from the side of the trans? Just take the gear from the parts car correct?

Re: Another drum > disk question...
So the proportioning valve is located on the rear where it splits the lines? Or are we talking the valve right after the master cylinder? I should be able to swap over the parts from the other car correct? Or is there a good place to get them after market valve and cable?
Thanks fellas
Thanks fellas
