Steering wheel shakes when braking
I have a race car only, so after going through the traps at about 118, I get on the brakes fairly hard to get the car to slow down. The car starts slowing down, and the steering wheel shakes bad under braking. I have a s10 manual steering box, with a grand cherokee steering shaft. All of the other steering items are stock. I am not sure if I need to replace the brakes, or the center link and the rest of the steering related items. Any thoughts?

My thoughts ;After you do the "wiggle test" to see if there is any play in your front end components , there will either be excessive play in one or more components , or there won't .
If there is play , replace the worn part(s) . If there aren't any parts with excessive play , it's highly likely that one or both of your front rotors are warped ......

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Steering wheel shakes when braking
Could be something about the steering or suspension; also highly likely that it's a warped or otherwise damaged rotor. If it was mine I'd start with the rotors, they're cheeeeeeeep anyway, and almost always messed up it seems.
