C5 front Disc caliper upgrade pedal spongy

Car: 1982 z/28 Right hand drive
Engine: 377 AFR195 750DP Solid cam 10.25:1
Transmission: TH/350 3200 stall spohn conversion
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42:1 Eaton Trutrac.
C5 front Disc caliper upgrade pedal spongy
1982 Z/28 had Disc front Drum rear.
Put all new mast cylinder and booster, and rear brakes overhaul. done the C5 corvette front caliper rotor upgrade all brand new.
Bleed Brakes, drive car pedal spongy,, i was expecting big stopping power, car feels the same as the original setup. EVERYTHING BRAND NEW..
spongy pedal, pedal i dont think should take or use so much travel to stop the car.
the brakes are really hopeless for a car like this.
should the proportion valve be swaped or a larger spring used in the valve to araund 20lbs to get the back working better.

did you upgrade to the 98-02 brake booster and master cylinder? Im in the process of doing the upgrade and have gotten the 98-02 booster and master

i checked the pressure its where it should be.
The C5 calipers were made in Australia you will see on the casting,MADE IN AUSTRALIA.
we had them on Aussie v6 camry cars as standard..
i dont know if they are as good as i expected.

Need to get the air out of the system, then bed the pads. Should then have good braking power.
