Gauging interest: Modded 91Z28
I have come to the conclusion that having project car, no money, and attempting to go to school just really doesn't work all that well together. I am gauging to see how interested people would be in my daily driver/project 1991 Z28. It is white with black/grey interior, hardtop, 350 TPI, drum rear and power everything. I have been fixing it up and slowly modding it since I got it. So far mods include:
T56 Tranny from 97 T/A
Spohn x-member
Poly tranny mount
Hurst short throw shifter (this thing is sweeeet)
LS1 3" Aluminum DS
New Auburn Posi
New 3.73 gears
Lakewood Adjustable Panhard rod
Lakewood LCA's
Earl's SS brake lines front and rear
TDS wonderbar
Spohn Weld in subframe connectors
Hedman Longtubes
Ported and Polished Plenum and runners
MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires
MSD Cap and rotor
Accel U-groove plugs
200* Fan switch
185* Thermostat
!smog
In the last year the following have been replaced with OE parts
Fuel pump
Fuel tank
Shocks
Struts
window motors
computer
calipers
front pads
rotors
wheel bearings
carrier bearings
pinion bearings
clutch (less than 6 months old)
oil pressure sending unit
alternator
battery
heater core
compressor
headliner
The car runs really well, but it does have some tuning issues. It is running rather rich and likes to stall coming up to stop lights. I haven't been able to get tuning equipment to get into the computer as of yet, but it'd be a great car for someone who has the ability to do so. It looks a bit rough on the outside due to 15+year old paint, but it's a great car with no rust whatsoever. I would like to get $4200 obo or trade for a reliable truck that is a stick. I also have to go along with it a set of rear PBR aluminum calipers and e-brake assembly off of a 2001 firehawk. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll try to get pictures up.

Here is the list of issues with the car so everything is out in the open:
Needs rear tires, bad
Front end is quite sloppy, never got around to rebuilding that
Needs alignment
needs paint...peeling in a few places
Exhuast needs to be addressed....I don't personally think it's worthy for this car
Has MAP code that I can't figure out...probably needs tuning due to mods
Likes to die when coming to a stop...probably more tuning issues.
Runs rich...think it's a stuck injector. Have no time to diagnose that one.
No speedo since tranny swap
AC vacuum lines need to be looked at. It blows cold but only out of the defrost vent and you can hear the doors wanting to move it to other vents when you move the selector, but it just won't go.
Pass door lock has no clip to hold in the lock cylinder so it's basically useless to open from outside. Door does lock though.
Needs visors...my dog ate mine when I took them out to redo my headliner
Forgot to add to the "mods"
15% tint all around with a 5% visor
Decent stereo with Panasonic headunit, crappy lightening audio sub and sony 800w amp. Sounds pretty decent for what it is.
I also have almost all the receipts for everything I have done to the car so that should help show it's legit.
