83 v8 camaro

305 transplant. Son is going to Boot Camp. Need to get rid of this car.
Car is driven daily to work but is in need of some TLC.

$1400 obo

Good Points:

*305 ttransplant..get v6 insurance rates
*Drives nice once up to speed
*Console is in pretty good shape, no broken hinges
*Tinted windows

Bad Points:

*Needs V-8 Radiator, still has v-6, gets a little warm
*Transmission shifts late, tc cable is broken
*Right rear quartre panel dinged up
*some surface rust here and there
*Needs Tires
*interior is a mess, but has 4th gen buckets in better than fair shape
can replace with factory seats if you want..need recovered
feel free to ask questions, will post pics as soon as i figure out hoe
$1400 obo

nice looking car, where is it at ?? you should indicate at least what state it is in.

v-6 radiator connected to a v-8 is impossible the two are reversed.

good luck

my bad..sorry im in ky.. i didnt know that about the radiator..maybe it is the right one. afer my son left i fixed a water leak arount the goose neck and it seems to be cooling ok now. he bought this car about 2 months ago and i havent had time to look at it much. he jest told me it got hot going to work so I assumed it was probably still a v6 radiator.guess not..it was pretty low on coolant too..now if I could just get the tv cable adjusted...

I feel obligated to apologize for my ignorance, I mess mainly with 1st gen and 4th gens..this is the first dealings ive had with a 3rd gen, before i inherited this car i didnt like the body style too much, but i gotta say, it grows on a fella, car rides very nice compared to my 67 and 02, beleve it or not, Maybe the supension is mushy..lol..If i dint already have too many vehicles, id definatly keep this one, altho its a pretty rough, i beleive it has a lot o potential.
