Hey guys, I'm thinking of selling my Black 83' Sports Coupe. It's got a 2.8/t5, 3.42 gears in it. here is whats wrong: *** No it's not the blue one in my signature***

*Needs new hood/fix hood
*some rust control (only surface as far as i know)
*needs new interior... it's rideable, but old and very used. also needs new passenger side visor (it's gone)
*driver side interior door handle (it opens from inside, but only with a tool)
*steering wheel has play in it
*ball joint needs replaced (go over a pot-hole and the car shakes)
*right rear needs new tire immediately, but all tires have little tread (has slow leak... 2-3 days and it's flat) - 14" tires (came like that)

the engine has something wrong with it. I think it's either a piston skirt, wrist pin, or something else (main reason why i want to sell it).

What i have done to the v6:
all new lifters/pushrods
new water pump
new gaskets on intake--> heads
new carburator
fixed driver side door so it opens (inside door handle i took off - it was a nub, outside i replaced)
cleaned top of heads, complete intake, valve covers
inspection and registration are good until march? or april of 2008
all new headlights/windshield wipers

As you can see i do want to fix the car.. but this has gone too much, there is something wrong... hell it may just need an oil pump replacement for all i know (the push rods squirt a little, but not shooting like most cars).

So, my loss is your gain. I would like 800$ obo. I don't have pictures yet, but i'll get some tomorrow after work if it stops raining.

Oh yeah, this thing has a sunroof, installed by previous owner - it does not leak, suprisingly. Everything is as gotten it except what i have fixed... when it was working properly it would spin the right tire through first and part of second... it would get up and go over 100 mph

i recommend trailering it. it will start up and go onto a trailer... well, it will drive across town but i don't trust that engine. But once paid for, everything is yours and is not warrantied at all.

Anyone can easily part this out and get a lot of money out of it. Oh yeah, I will also toss in an extra 89' front nose (including metal front bumper attached), a rear bumper, and a couple of other random parts that i have laying around that i planned on upgrading on this car... if it goes for full price, or around it.

Im interested but not for $800.. theres 305RS's in better shape on this board for less.. Plus since it doesnt run Id have to get it shipped.. Whats the lowest price youd take for it?

manual v6 83' camaro. 3.42 gears i believe. non-posi. needs new ball joint. sunroof does not leak. interior is semi-trashed, has the old car smell. ran great when the engine wasn't messed up. Valve covers are currently off, and the distributor bracket i lost (picking up one soon and re-installing it). but it will start up and drive... not a loud v6 like my 89', but it used to get up and go!

I would like 600 for it, but i can go a tad bit lower if needed. needs a new hood.

 

$450 obo takes it as is. i need it gone. blue title and inspection/registration good until next year.

 

still for sale, clear title, the distributor is good and on. valve covers are off, but i will put on if asked. starts right up and will go on a trailer just fine. 450
