I NEED to sell my 1988 IROC-Z Convertible! LT1/T56
Unfortunately, due to hard times I am unable to continue on with my IROC project. I had lots of plans for it, but I am in no financial situation to complete what I have started.
Car:
1988 IROC-Z Convertible
Originally a canadian car
HAD a 305TBI and T5 Transmission
The IROC's interior consists of a 4th gen dash with functioning gauges, 4th gen center console, 4th gen seats, nice carpet 97 Delco radio with working CD player, rear pioneer speakers, and I may just throw in the 2 12" Punch subs and 800w MTX Amplifier that are in the trunk.
Performance/suspension mods that are already done to the car include:
87 BW 9-bolt Posi (3.23) rearend with new gear oil, new rotors, new pads, and new calipers painted red. It has Lakewood lower control arms, and a Lakewood adjustable panhard bar. Newer KYB GR2 Shocks/struts all the way around, and AG Lowering springs installed as well. Energy Suspension endlinks on both swaybars which are the Largest you can get (36mm/24mm). The Front Brake calipers and pads have also been replaced with very little miles on them. The hood is a Harwood 3" bolt on show series hood, made of fiberglass and is realllllly light! Also has Flowmaster muffler and the piping all the way up to the Y (complete). The car needs Paint and body work, and a new Top.
5.7l (350ci) LT1 Complete with Aluminum heads and ALL accessories
T56 6 speed transmission, fork, clutch, and bellhousing, shifter..
Edelbrock Emissions legal headers and Y-pipe
Prepped 3rd gen under-hood harness
Full LT1 Engine harness with ECM
Master/Slave cylinder with steel braided line
LT1 Radiator with all hoses
LT1 Dual fan setup
LT1 Throttle cable
Extra parts that are included:
Extra set of good doors
2 sets of convertible spoilers (Need work)
Extra convertible tonneau lid
Anything else I can find (I have lots of parts)
The only other parts needed to complete the LT1 swap are a $51 Fuel pump, and a $105 T56 Transmission crossmember, or have one made.
I will most likely be installing the engine and LT1 swap parts in the coming days unless there is interest before hand. The front tires have about 80% tread left, and the rears have about 50% left.

Fiero spoiler has been removed, but the buyer can have it if they want it, lol.

These pics are probably a month or two old, I will have new pics tomorrow, the car is in the same shape, just no motor currently installed.
I would like to get $3000 out of the entire package. If I make enough money to buy the crossmember and fuel pump, I will install those as well.
Located in Tampa, florida.
Thanks

Re: I NEED to sell my 1988 IROC-Z Convertible! LT1/T56
Got pretty much all of the under-hood wiring hooked up, and put in the battery, all of the lights came on as they should, etc.. I couldnt fully test it yet though, as the car still needs a bigger fuel pump, crossmember, and a pulley. I will be ordering these parts in a few days most likely. If I get it running/driving, I will want more money.

Update:
I am buying/ordering the parts necessary to get this beast up and running.
When I get it running and driving I will post a new ad, so it isnt so cluttered.
Stay tuned.
