1986 Camaro Z28

Price is $3300 OBO

The car does have the factory motor and transmission installed but the bottom end of the motor has been rebuilt. While on a test drive it spun a rod bearing so I pulled the motor and rebuilt the bottom end with a new crank and bearings while swapping out other parts while I was putting it back together (oil pump, timing chain, front and rear main seals, water pump, etc...). The motor is currently running and back in the car. I did however remove the smog controls and ac compressor and hoses when I was reinstalling it but I do still have all the components intact. If you want them just let me know and I can include them with the car.

Original 305 V8 Small Block Engine

Original 700r4 Automatic Transmission

Posi Rearend with 4.56 Richmond Gears

Approximately 115k Original Miles

Ttops That Do Not Leak

There is nothing wrong with this Camaro to my knowledge other than it runs a little rich and the speedometer is off because the gears have been changed.

The stock motor and transmission are installed with an estimated 115k original miles. The miles are estimated due to the lower rear gear ratio which makes the odometer run very quickly.

I did alter the interior when I got the car by installing 4th generation Camaro seats (cloth out of a 94) and console. The new seats are much more comfortable and look a lot better as well. The console doesn't mesh up as well as I had hoped but I can find an original console and reinstall it for you. (The original console was busted anyways and I had planned on fiberglassing it all together but other projects took over)

The interior needs nothing other than a headliner which fell apart when I was recovering it. The Ttops do not leak and I still have the original GM leather bag to store them in.

There are wires run for an amplifier and subwoofers but I removed these so they didn't bake in the sun. They are 2 10" Rockford Fosgate P1 subwoofers with a 500w Alpine monoblock class D amp. If you are interested I will sell them with the car for the right price.

The exterior is in decent condition but the paint could be better in places. There are normal chips and such in the paint which is expected. The hood that is installed is a full fiberglass hood. Also the rear spoiler is a replica to the 91-92 Camaro wings that were factory installed in their appearance packages.

It does have Cragar wheels installed but they will need to be cleaned up.

This was my daily driver until I had to make commutes to Knoxville, TN so now it has turned into my weekend cruiser. The only reason I am selling it is to finance another project.

If you have any addition questions you can PM me here.

Also you can call or text 423-502-4068. Additional pictures are available by request. Please no trade requests.
