$1500 Make me and offer. Car has 134XXX mi. The original engine (305 TPI) thru a rod so I have a replacement 350 Tpi for it. Has not been installed. If not to far and you pay full price Ill bring it to you. Seats and carpet are good. Needs headliner and dashpad, nothing else major. All wiring harness is there from the 305. 350 has its harness but its been cut in one place. The 350 (120XXX miles) is a 1988 as well. Car will need painting. Light surface rust on pass fender. May keep it and finish if dont sell for decent price but I am a little motivated because Ive found another project I like better. Let me know. Have more pics if needed. Will not part out. Ok you can see in one of the pictures underneath there is some circlular rust spots where the CAT goes. Thats the only spot I found rust underneath. Its not all the way through in my opinion. Id have to pull up the carpet to confirm and Im not doing that. I mashed it on the bottom and its not all the way through but whoever buys it should go ahead and work it out.

As far as history goes all I know is what the previous owner told me. The guy he got it from drove the car as a daily driver up unto the time it threw the rod. The tranny had no problems. He got upset and kicked it (go figure) and put a small dent behind the drivers front tire. Easy push out repair. It needs a headliner and the t bar dress plates replaced. It has a little rust right where it butts up against the seal. It does not have the factory stereo it has a CD player.

I think Ive addressed the rust on the car already as well as the seats. The interior needs cleaning with the exception the headliner which needs replacing. The dash pad needs replacing and the console top as well. Thats all I can remember.

My plans for the car were to freshen up the 350 tpi paint and clean to make it look like new, change sensors etc, paint engine bay, install engine then paint the car.

There are some misc parts from the LB9 in the trunk of this car mainly the upper stuff from the engine. From what Ive assessed everything is there to put the L98 in and run it. O it is also missing the hood louvers.

With all that said this is an as-is sale.

 

Dont show me any completed car pics or else Im going to have to keep it. I know Ill be adding this car to the signiture as a wish I didnt sell one day.

 

Ive got several people wanting the engine and body separate so if I can get to where I need by spliting the two then so be it. So if anyone here wants to go that route let me know. I really need to be sure though when splitting these because if all doesnt see Ill just figure on completing the project. I am gonna want both lined up before letting anything go in other words.
