Estimating value for 3rd gen Camaros
I am considering selling my '88 IROC, just under 23,000 original miles.
My question is, since KBB.com only goes back to 1992 or thereabouts, is there a preferred web site for getting a ballpark figure on this car's base value for regular buyers? Or even better, a site that specializes in 3rd gen Camaro valuation for collectors?
I have read Jason E's great post "My Public Service Announcement - The RIGHT WAY to Sell Your Car"
I have also used this web site which seems good:

I have found the "Old Cars Report Price Guide" (Magazine) to be the most Conservative. It comes closest to what I get selling my old vehs.

FYI. Although just like I did you will see similar listings for much higher but I sold an 88 350 in mint condition with 24k miles for $13k and it took 8 months to get it. It was listed on this site, eBay, CL.

Post up some pictures and a photo of the RPO codes, I'd be interested in seeing it. Does it have it's original paint?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks for the links, guys! I will post some pics, probably this weekend. It does have mostly original paint, but is a bit faded on the roof and hatch. The hood and front right quarter panel were replaced after a minor fender bender in 2003, so the front has fresh paint, and I think the drivers door had a tiny ding so it was fixed and repainted at the same time.

Re: Estimating value for 3rd gen Camaros
Found and photographed the RPO codes. See photo. My brother was the original owner and custom ordered it from, I believe, the Chevy dealer in Richmond, IN. All maintenance receipts are somewhere in my garage. He had it hauled out to CA in '03, then passed away, and I bought it from his widow.
Note the Decal Delete code. I love the lines without the gaudy "eighties" style decals, but that's just me.

Hmmm, it won't let me upload a photo. Please stand by.

Once the weather clears up here I will take some new outdoor photos. Should be clear this weekend. I have posted a few on other threads in the past in case you can't wait.

Here's a front view from a few years ago. Nothing has changed since then.
