1988 Iroc-Z Camaro T-Tops 383 TPI Stroker motor $4000- Pittsburgh

1988 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z T-top car. 135k miles on the chassis. This car is a true Iroc VIN: 1G1FP21F5JL187538

This car was previously repainted Viper Red (originally black) by another forum member in October 2010. I purchased the car after he sold it to someone else, and that owner put a 383 stroker motor (pre 1979 block) in the car. I don't know the full specs of the motor, but I can confirm it is a 383 stroker. What I do know about the motor:

Edelbrock Aluminum heads
Roller rockers
Roller camshaft and lifters (unsure of which cam it is)
I don't have info on the rotating assembly, crank, pistons etc.
The motor still has the factory TPI setup and is in working, running condition.
The engine sounds great, but does run on the rich side, it would benefit greatly from a computer tune, probably with new injectors, or a carburetor setup if you prefer. The main issue with the car is that the rear main seal needs replaced badly. The engine runs strong, but leaks a lot of oil, I would not recommend driving this car as is. This is a project someone needs to finish to become a great car.

I've put a lot of work into the interior of the car as well as several other small details. The interior was terrible when I bought the car and I've replaced almost the entire interior (plastics, console, dash, door panels, door handles, seat belts, etc) with a black interior from a 1985 Iroc. I've replaced all weatherstripping on the car as well with brand new. The only thing missing in the interior is the headliner. I have an uncovered, good condition headliner and headliner material I will include. Also the dash pad itself is cracked in several places, that's one of few parts I haven't replaced.

Parts I've replaced:
All new weather stripping (doors, T-tops,Windows, hatch)
New Radiator
New Rad hoses
New Coolant
New drive belts
New Calipers and front pads, brake hoses
New rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes and hardware
New hard lines for rear brakes from Master cylinder back
New rear axle seals
replaced rear diff fluid
New Front sway bar bushings and end links
New Window motors
New rear bumper emblems (Irocz logo and TPI)
car has IROC wheels from a 1985, not a 1988 (I think they look better)
All bulbs in third brake light
I'm sure I'm forgetting loads of things here too.

I have a set of Stainless SLP Tri-Y headers and Y pipe (somewhat rare) not currently installed to include with the car.

There is virtually no rust on this car, which is why I originally bought it. The rear quarters, wheel wells, rocker panels are perfect. There is a problem with the driver's side door skin though. There seems to be body filler that failed on the drivers door that you can see in the pictures. Also, the previous owner damaged the front bumper, hence the bra. I do have an entire brand new primed front bumper to go along with the car. I also have a manual flywheel for a 383/400 motor if you plan on converting the car to a manual transmission.

This car has very solid bones and is about 95% finished. I've stalled out on the project and am seeing if someone else wants to finish it. Asking $4000 for it and I'll be taking a huge loss at that price. Ask me any questions you have.

Thanks.
