1992 Camaro RS, 305 standard. The body and interior look great. It will start but does not stay running. I believe it needs a new fuel pump...2-3 psi showing on the pressure gauge. As much as I would like to keep it and fix it myself I think I've decided it's time for it to go so I can reclaim the space in the garage. I've owned the car since 1996... I'm willing to discuss any reasonable offer.
Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to answer them.
I can't figure out how to post the thumbnails so I'll post some images here and in the next post.

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot to put that in the OP. 201K miles, it's in Oklahoma. I've tried to figure out a good value for it, but it hasn't been as easy as I thought. I was thinking $5500-$6500 but would be willing to discuss any reasonable offer.
Definitely agree with fixing the fuel pump issue. You'll get your money's worth. Good luck!
Thanks for the good advice. I will give it a shot. I've been searching for a good video or list of steps to change out a fuel pump and it seems more doable than I imagined.
This car is too nice condition wise not to fix it. its about a $2000-3000 car with the mileage and no issues. Not running its about a $900 car only because its a 5spd. To give you perspective there have been 4 91-92 RS's sell in Chicago over the last 6 months all with 50-80K miles and the max they sold for was $5500 and they all looked mint. You have to fix it otherwise it's a parts car.

While that is somewhat unfortunate for me, I do appreciate the information. Does anyone have an suggestions how I could increase the value, or is the fact it's an RS with 200k miles the reason the value isn't any higher?
Yes it is. The only change is it is running now. I replaced the fuel pump so it's back up and running. I've been driving it around and noticed the speedometer isn't working. After some investigation, I believe I need a new VSS so I'll be replacing that in the next couple of weeks.

Bad:
TBI
Non T-Tops
Only an RS
200K miles, but Kudos to you for keeping it that clean
Good:
5-speed
There is nothing highly desirable about and RS with a TBI. Hate to say it like that, but it is true of any model out there. As age increases, the interest of the non top performance level cars starts to fall off. Unless you find the right buyer with a certain emotional attachment or with certain plans. For example, if someone was wanting to do a LS 6-speed swap and race it, having the manual set up and non t-top body would all be pluses.
I agree with what was said above, 200K miles, non running... it is basically a roller worth around $1000. Running, I would expect upwards of $2500-$3500 because then it is a very clean and strong running 3rd gen with a 5-speed, but will not command the money of a TPI Car with T-Tops.
Yep 3k is about right. If you were within a few hundred miles of me id probably buy it and daily drive it. Very clean car for the miles on it especially. GLWS
I know the mileage is high but I really think the location makes a big difference in the cost of these cars. I can tell you that down here in SoFlo that is a 5K car with how clean it is. Below is a CL ad for a similar car but less miles? and a less fun auto. I don't think he'll get 7.5K but 5.5K down here is realistic. https://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto...584494709.html
These threads crack me up. That car is spotless, and looks impeccable underneath. People ask 2500-3000 for them every day, that are all hacked up or rusted to pieces. Just because a car "can be" had at a lower price, does not mean that is what its worth.
Lets look at facts- Its a 92, hardtop 5 speed. Out of all the thirdgens built, late 91-92 cars are built much better with the extra spot welds, and the addition of the "glue" between the sheet metal seams for extra body stability.
92 5 speeds are VERY difficult to find, and hardtops are harder yet.
So it has high mileage, its also a 25 year old car. Maybe the price is high, maybe not.
The point is, people who have no intention of buying it like to chime in for no reason. Especially those who routinely tell others their car is overpriced.....yet try and sell parts on this very board for 5-10x what they are worth.....
GLWS op. I think if you hold out, you will find a buyer looking for a clean car to do an LS swap. A buyer like that would be money ahead to buy your car, rather than a 2500.00 car that needs floors/quarters etc welded in.

I was ready to come buy this car to do just that but $5500????? Nope, In January on HERE there was a red 92 hardtop RS with 50k original miles that couldn't sell for $5500, I think the guy ended up trading it in to a dealership for less.
I appreciate all the input. The car is in the OKC area. Like I said earlier I’ve had the car for the last 22 years but if I can get the right price I would like to sell it to make room in my garage.

Congrats !! You have common sense
Much lower mile, high option examples out there for that $5000-6000 price range
You just gotta wait for the right deal !!!
Been dealing in cars for many years now and once common factor is when owner has owned it "Since new" or for a LONG time =
"Sentimental value" kicks in and most times prices $$$$$. Seen this scenario many times before !!!

I remember that one, it was a nice car. It was an auto, so not really a good comparison though.
Point is, the car is spotless, and the hardtop/5 speed 92 V8 combo is very rare. 92 was the second lowest production year, and again, had all the best engineering changes before the 3rd gens were phased out.
