1992 RS Camaro
1992 RS Camaro, 29,977 miles, red, auto, V-8, 2.73, gray interior, new abs headliner installed, bra, car cover, garaged, clean title in hand. Odometer just quit working, needs new heater core installed. Runs excellent, no smoke on start up, shifts perfectly, very good tires and brakes, only mod is open element with K&N filter, otherwise all stock. $6,800.00 as is or $7,500.00 after odometer fix ad heater core install. 224.419.3898, call or text, or respond to add, I will check this listing daily. Thanks for looking. Please no calls after 9:00 p.m. central.
Pictures to follow very soon, having trouble loading as they are too large.

Re: 1992 RS Camaro
I think you are high on Price. A 2.73 170hp TBI is a dog TBH, and its not a T-Top. Plus it has issues. Just a suggestion, you may get some interest around $5K.
It is in great shape otherwise, but I think you should kill this listing, get the issues fixed, and the list it in the spring if you want premium money.

Re: 1992 RS Camaro
Good advice and I agree on some points. But...
"A little high on the price", hence OBO
"not a t-top", some people like hardtop for rigidity
"A 2.73 170hp TBI is a dog TBH", yes it is. I listed these features for truth in advertising. I just want prospective buyers to know what they are getting.
It does have a few issues but it is a low mile original car in very good shape. By the way this car would look good in your collection right next to the Viper. What do you say?

Yes, I understand on the hard top, but that is usually people who want to drive hard. Those people are the ones that want to modify the suspension and motor. While its nice to get a low mile car for these activities, but often not worth the premium.
Been down the road of 305TBI and 2.73 with my brother and his 89. Ended up a 3.73 ZZ4 carbed car by the time it was all said and done.
I would be very interested if it were a T-Top. I have interest in selling the Viper to finance a 3rd gen project I have in mind. Definitely involves a motor swap, but I would rather start with an IROC's suspension but at the right price a low mile RS wouldn't bother me at all.
Plus I have an 8 year old son who I want to start working on a car with for when he turns 16.

Oh and I should mention, every Red Camaro I have ever ridden in eventually gets wrecked with me in it. One was me driving, one was someone else, and one was sitting and got hit while parked.

Re: 1992 RS Camaro
BizJetTech, I never received anything at the number I listed, don't know why? No phone calls, no text, nothing. Sorry if you got upset that was not my intention. There wasn't much happening on this thread for a long time so I haven't checked it for over a month. If your still interested let's talk. I'll try and post interior pics and undercarriage pics in the next couple of days as Ill need to pull it out of storage.

Re: 1992 RS Camaro
jbv - I text the number in your ad - 224.419.3898 (which I come to find out is not your number, its some friend of yours). They gave me another number to contact you at - still nothing. Complete run around and waste of time - I gave up and bought a car already. I suggest you look at the number in your ad and updated it to something you can be contacted at.

Re: 1992 RS Camaro
OP, I am interested in this car and have cash in hand. I collect low mileage 3rd gens. If you want to sell it and not give it away to a dealer PM me. I tried calling the number given but got no response. Above it appears this is not your number which is usually a huge red flag when a seller does that, so if you are interested in selling it, I have cash and a small amount of time before I too pick up another car over yours like happened above.
