[AZ] 86 Camaro SC 2.8 5-Speed-Swapped Project/Chassis For Sale
Time to part with all of my third gen stuff, including my first car, which I've been tinkering on for years. Includes 4 original 15" rally wheels, 2 16" IROC, 2 15" '88 (accidentally sold the 88 with two IROCs still on it. argh), and the pictured donut, rubber in various levels of "trash" on all wheels. Various extra interior parts. Dash pad is included but very bad. Driver door hinge sags badly. Rattlecan paint is pretty weathered, and I didn't know what self-etching primer was back then. Arizona car, for better (no rust) or worse (UV plays hell on plastics).
Was still startable back in '07 or so, but valve seals were gone and plugs oil-fouled in under 10 miles... boosting a 160k mile motor had its drawbacks. 5-speed swapped, transmission worked fine last drive. Have extra 2.8 engine parts whole engine plus extra heads) to give away with it if someone really wants to get it running with the 2.8 again. Have a 3.4 if someone's *really* into keeping the v6. Turbo parts only included if someone's fixated on finishing it as intended, but note that "project car" is the understatement of the century. I'm sad to give her up, but she's sat ever since I moved to a city with emissions requirements.
