I'm looking for a solid car to make into a daily. Preferably NOT modified. I am not looking for a saturday night special, but somthing nice to drive on a daily (or thereabouts) basis.

IROC or Z28 or similar clone. I'm not a fan of the 84 and earlier nose, and I would really like a TPI car. 305 or 350 is fine. I would be interested in a 6 cyl if it's in very impressive condition and runs strong.

Simply put, a clean, factory spec car that requires little work (preferably none) to make it nice.

T-Tops are great but not necessary. Verts awesome, but not likely for my price.

I'm looking to spend $2000 or less.

I'm located in the metro Atlanta, GA area, and will also consider cars in the Los Angeles, CA area, as my brother lives there.

 

Father-in-law co-work has a 89 iroc with t-tops motor will no start. not sure what is wrong. But he had asked me if i want to be the car I can find out more information if you want. Car is in va beac, va

 

Virginia Beach was a little farther than i was loking to travel, especially if the car is not running. Thanks though.
