No drive train required!
I'm looking for a solid ( no rust ) Camaro shell. It dosen't matter if it's a base model or an IROC as long as the quarters and floor/firewall are sound. I'd prefer a coupe as opposed to a t-top.
Don't need any of the running gear. ( Although being able to roll it around would be nice.)
I'm in the greater Toronto area. A few hundred miles wouldn't be a big deal if the prospect is good.

Re: No drive train required!
I have a real solid 86 Sport Coupe T-Top roller - no engine or tranny. It was a V8 automatic car. Was originally blue, but now is in primer - was going to go black. It was originally a black leather interior. The rear seat is still included, the fronts are a gray cloth set. It does need a new windshield. The car has no rust issues - very solid.
I'm near Buffalo, NY and have a clear NY title. A very reasonable $500.
The only pic I have currently is http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/cars/...ro/camaro1.jpg
It's in my pole barn that is lackign space and hard to get any other good pics. The picture looks worse than the car is since it's seeral different shades of primer.

When you can manage it, I'd like to see a few more pictures. You're right in that it's hard to tell with the one photo.
I am interested but not in too much of a hurry. The firewall at the right front inner fender, along the quarters and drivers side floor are problem areas. ( particularly with t tops.)
How far are you from the Peace bridge at Fort Erie?

Re: No drive train required!
I took some more today - http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/cars/86camaro/.
I'm about 45 minutes from the Peace Bridge. Zip code 14108.
I checked the car over pretty good. Body is very solid - rockers, bottom of doors, underside, t-tops, etc all nice. I found 1 soft spot by the driver feet area - maybe softball size. I could not find 1 taillight. Door panels are included as is most of the interior. Some small items may need to be acquired. The wheels are the original Camaro wheels and as you can see, the tires will only hold air for about a week or so.
It does have the roof console and another spare roof console. It has the rear spoiler with the 3rd brake light, the arm rests, drive shaft, etc. The rear seat is real nice. The seats must have been black leather as that is what the rear seat is. The fronts were missing when I picked it up, but I do have a set of gray leather fronts.
Thanks,
Dan
