I'm looking at a local listing for a 1984 Camaro Z28. He says a lot of parts have been replaced, so it's not all stock. He says it "needs headliner" (dunno if the headliner is simply sagging and needs repair, or if it is seriously missing the headliner entirely), and that it needs a paint job.

I'm pressing him for pictures and details on the rust, miles, and whatnot.

He's asking $850. Which seems awfully low.

What should I expect, and what should I be looking for?

I'm obviously looking to see the car before purchasing, but as it's located pretty far away, I'd like to know what I should be finding out and expecting right now.

defiantly check for rust... floor boards, door jams, trunk pan, ect.
