V8 Third Gen Camaro Wanted in Texas
I'm looking for the right 3rd gen Camaro for myself. I only have around $1000 to spend, but I'm hoping there's a Camaro out there for me..
As much as possible I'd like to have the following:
- 87-92, but will consider other years depending on price
- V8 350 5.7L engine, TPI would be nice..
NO V6's, will settle for 305 if the price is right
- Z28 or Iroc, RS as long as it has the 350
- Transmission doesn't matter
- Not too picky on color or looks, as long as theres no frame damage, I'm ok with wrecks to replaceable parts. Bad paint is ok..
- Interior, I'd prefer if it was mostly complete.
- Drivable, or at least rollable, lol
- Clean title
Basically, as long as it runs and fits my description, it's good to go. I'm located in Houston, TX, but I can travel to Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, etc for the right car. I hope to one day be the proud owner of a 3rd gen Camaro, and you guys could make that happen! Thanks

Bought both of mine from craigstlist.com Belive your craigslist will be houston.craigslist.com
Since your looking for a car, go with the 350, if you plan on any performance.
If your more into crusiblity "yes i made that word up" , go with the 305, has plenty of TATA's to pull out in traffic. Plus 305's came in approx 54% of all camaro's.

Yea, mainly I'm looking for a 350. My dad used to have one and always tells me about his experiences in his Camaro, which I want to enjoy as well. I'd settle for the 305 if the price was right. I'm not looking to build a race car, but maybe mild performance and basic mods would be fine for a daily driver.
