Any Camaro (running/driving)

Well, basically becoming addicted to the third gens after seeing some friends around me get them, I'm wanting to get in one.

I just love them in general, I don't mind if I get a v8 or a v6.

I'm looking at a $600 3.1L Camaro atm, but I'm still keeping my eyes open for other deals.

I'm still paying on my 01 mustang atm and dont have a lot of extra cash.
Maximum I'm willing to spend is 1k.

I'd love to find a 305 - buddy found his 305 84 Firebird for 750, would be nice to find a deal like that myself.

I'm really not to worried about the shape of the car as long as it doesn't need a ton of work up front.

I dont mind the condition of the body either really as long as it isnt smashed to pieces. The last car I looked at was a 91 3.1L and it looked like it had been through hell and back, some rust, chunk out of the bumper, but ran and drove good - $400 - would have bought it but was sold before I did.

I'm in Burlington, IA - I'm willing to drive around 2-3 hours but not much farther.

I'd pay cash as well.
So, my ideal find would be a 305 T-Tops 5spd - however I know beggars can't be choosers - so anything you got for 1k or less, throw it at me.
