Hey guys, I'm looking for a 3rd gen camaro (possibly firebird too). I'd like it to be relatively new (87+) with t-tops, V8 (preferably TPI or 4 bbl high output), and manual transmission (I'll take an automatic if its got the 5.7 TPI). Car must be mostly stock. Color doesn't matter to me that much. I'd like it to be in decent shape, being solid and drivable (I don't want rebuilt transmissions/engines, I might consider it if the work was documented and a warentee would be nice too). Paint doesn't have to be perfect, but little to no rust (NO ROT) would be appreciated, and dings being kept to a minimum. And mileage under 110k would be preferred as well. A z28 or IROC (formula/trans am on firebird) trim would be preferred as well. Car doesn't need to be a show car, but must be in solid condition (I don't care if it needs a few small things, ie interior pieces, etc.). I'm located in central CT, so a car not too far away would be nice. Thanks a lot!

My co-worker has got almost what your looking for except that mine is auto with a 5.0 TPI, He is asking $3,750 but heam negotible and he is from Long Island NY.

I just spoke to my co-worker and he said $3,200 is his bottom line. So if you could come up with just an extra $200 you can have the car. And I can tell you that it is worth it.

He is showing the car this Saturday around noon time. He has a few other people coming to look at it. The car is in Farmingville 11738. I think you could take the Ferry over to Port Jefferson and he is just 15-20 minutes south of there.

Long Island is a little far for me unfortunately. So right now, there isn't much certainty as to whether or not I can make it so don't hesitate to sell it to someone else. Thanks for responding to my thread though!
