Passionate '90 RS owner desperately seeks a 90-92 car that is all original under the hood, or if it there are aftermarket parts, that they were installed correctly and not by some complete asinine moron that previously owned the car (which turned out to be the case with my car and is the reason I'm seeking another running third gen).

My current car is supposed to be an automatic 305 TBI, but God only knows what collection of junk is actually on it.

Seeking a perfect running 305 or 350 with everything under the hood working.

I don't care if the exterior is a rust bucket as long as it's a strong runner. Rear-totaled is also no problem. As I said, what matters to me is that it is running well and correctly.

I'm in the LaCrosse, WI area; the closer to me, the better, but I'm willing to pick up or have it shipped.

Serious and knowledgable sellers only, please.

Help my baby live again! I just spent thousands to have the exterior totally restored and painted, only for the currently "engine" to suddenly develop countless little problems.

 

I think I may have what you are looking for. I have a 1991 Camaro RS V8 w/ the original automatic TH700R4 transmission. It hasn't been started in awhile, but the car ran well the last time I started it. It has about 110,000 mi. Let me know if you are interested. I don't have a digital camera, but I could probably borrow one if you would like to see pictures. You also would not have to go very far because the car is being stored in La Crosse.

Only a couple pictures there but the engine and exhaust are in great shape. She has been sitting in a barn since October 2010 and starts up every week for me. Engine is the 305 and has 93K miles if I remember right..

 

I have a complete motor and tranny pulled from my 92 rs. 305tbi/700r4. Only thing off of it are the accessories. By your post though it sounds like you want a car to swap everything over more than just the motor.

I have a 90 RS I just picked up. It has 88 K miles on motor but top end was just rebuilt . top end has about 500-1000 miles. Body is pretty straight . Was hit in front at one point but has new fender and hood on it. Almost all sensors etc eas replaced. it passed PA inpection for 2012. Runs really good. I am asking $1350 B/O. located in Hatboro,Pa
