WTB 85-89 Camaro T-Top in Indiana
May 12th 2011:
Wanting to buy a T-Top Camaro from the years 85 - 89 (86-89 if it's a 305 or 350 motor).
I am currently selling my 82 El Camino in a couple of weeks, and looking to get another 3rd Gen Camaro. I miss my 90 RS I had. So I'm in here looking as well as Craigslist. I want to get one that has t-tops (And that's a must!) and no rust holes...don't care about surface rust or dents (as long as the dents are not too bad to repair. I don't want to have to replace 1/4 panels). If it's a v-6 in it, that's fine. I got a friend that is selling me a complete tpi set up anyway, so I'll drop in a 350. I would like it to be a 5 speed as well...but can't be too picky. If the v-6 is in it, Camaro years 85-89 is good. If it's a v-8 86-89 is needed because of the center-bolt heads are needed for the tpi. I live in Mooresville, Indiana, so keep it close. Gas prices are a killer right now. If the car is running...even better. Just tell me if it can be driven back home.
I'm looking to spend up to $1000 (Don't laugh, money is tight & I'm not getting a lot for my El Camino). That's why I don't mind if it's a running project car.

Are you still looking for one? I have an '89 RS that was wrecked lightly in the front, I have almost everything needed to fix it. It has a 305 that runs great. I was looking for around $1100-$1200 for it.

Send me a PM on your location. I am interested. Is it Auto or 5-speed. And is that a TBI under the air breather?
