Wanting 82-92 V8 Camaro

I am looking for an 82-92 V8 Camaro. My max to spend is $6000. Clean interior, painted, rust free, runs strong. 305 or 350 does not matter to me, only thing is no carbs, unless its a H.O. engine. Must be TPI,TBI or H.O.. Manual would be prefered but auto is just as good. I know it sounds as if I'm asking for a perfect show car but I'm just looking for a solid Camaro that doesn't need much more than a little TLC. DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT. I live in Tulsa, OK so it would have to be somewhere within 500 miles of here. If you have one or know someone who does shoot me a PM.

Re: Wanting 82-92 V8 Camaro

I might have a car for you....

91 RS 305 TBI 700r4.

I am the second owner of the car I bought it from a 75 year old lady who let the car sit for over 10years. The car drives and runs well I have done a lot to it to make sure it is in running condition after sitting so long. New fuel pump, fuel filter, rebuilt the TBI with new injectors, removed the smog pump, new plugs, wires, cap, coil. Bought new rear hatch pull down motor and new guides for it. Changed all the fluids except for power steering. The exhaust is practically new still has the stickers from when previous owner had new exhaust put on at the dealership. The previous owner had all service work done at a chevy dealer in waurika,ok. The brakes are good, no vibrations. I also have a set of clear marker lights I have not put on, and a couple of repair manuals including a dealer service manual 250 pages big. I would be willing to let this car go for $3000

The only bad parts on the car and for me selling for 3000 is because it needs a headliner it's sagging bad and the dash has the typical cracks in it. The weatherstripping is getting old and needs to be replaced. Car is black factory paint and it shows needs to be repainted the clear coat is peeling off.

Let me know what you think.

Re: Wanting 82-92 V8 Camaro

I have a 1990 Camaro RS with V8 TBI (Auto). It's white with gray interior & T-Tops, Iroc Z hood. I just repainted the car (Arctic White) and I blacked out the area around the front headlights (like Iroc Z). Interior is in decent shape. I just had the headliner & visors re-upholstered and I am in the process of putting new t-top weatherstripping. I have a 145 mph speedo if you want. RS tach is acting funny, which I can replace with original if desired.

Also, (inspired by member "Spike) I shaved rear bumper & side rocker panel extension...see post #62 on thread below:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...ns-post-2.html

Pretty much looks the same as spikes, minus rims and drivetrain upgrades and I kept the door handles.

Car runs great! I bought it from the original owner and he rebuilt the motor about 15k miles ago. It Could use new struts/shocks and the windshield is cracked.

It's my project, but I have to let it go. So far have about $3,300 invested and I'm just trying to get the $ back.

Let me know. I live in Los Angeles, California.

Re: Wanting 82-92 V8 Camaro

I have an 88 IROC-Z28 Originally 5.0 TPI with T-Tops. Had around 120,000 on it before I put in a rebuilt 350 5.7 TPI. It then sat for 3 years. I have just got it up and running again, and doing a little rehab. Would be interested in selling if you're interested in buying.

Details here http://camaro-pics.posterous.com/ with pictures coming soon.
