Hi All,
I am looking for a 3rd gen with good mechanics, auto trans is a must. Preferred colors are Blue exterior with grey or black interior, but not mandatory. Looking to do a restore mod anyway. This is my first time doing this type of thing so any advice from all the guru's here is appreciated. Purchase budget is around $8000.00.
Thanks All!

It's not blue, it's black and red interior, But it's the rarest I found for a Steal.
Color can always be changed. But you don't get to have one of these often.
1991 Black Z28 5.7 TPI hardtop Automatic Clean Title just needing a trans rebuilt goes into 2nd only for $1,200 with 154k on the clock. And says he's got a brand new stage 4 trans rebuild kit for it. http://eastnc.craigslist.org/cto/4544857340.html
Over here in Los Angeles California you can get that 700R4 trans rebuilt and reinstalled for around $800. And that '91 Z28 alone because it's all original and has the 5.7 TPI in it will sell for $3,500 at least, they're VERY desired and somewhat hard to find to a good price so $1,200 is a steal, I'd RUN to get it if It wasn't on the other side of the country where you can grab it.

WAIT! hold on! with a budget of 8grand you can also get another steal, so you can have 2 rare cars. ALthough this one claims to have some rust so you can use it for parts on the other one
Another 1991 Z28 5.7 TPI hardtop. First $1,000 takes it. Seems like the rust isn't too bad so it could still run and drive flawlessly with only 110k on the clock, like I said these would be like goldmines in Cali. The '91 and '92 5.7 Z28 are RARE and very much Wanted. The complete engine and trans combo would go for $1,500 because it's low mileage. But the interior and exterior looks to be in great shape. I wouldn't pass these two up.
I'd kick myself for years If I didn't get both if I were you.
