Unlike the last time that I sent out a message that I was looking to buy a Camaro, this time I will mention that I am looking to buy one in about 6-7 months from now (unless there is a deal that I can not pass up on). That being said, this is the part where I would mention the must haves on the Camaro I am wanting:

Years 85-89: These are the last years of the speedo cable running to the tranny, 90 they switched the dash mounting brackets and electric speedo. Not only that, but air bag was in the steering wheel.

T-Tops: Can't have a Camaro with out the T-Tops, it just doesn't look right without them IMHO.

Manual Tranny: doesn't matter if this is a Camaro with a 6 or 8 banger, I feel that (again IMHO), no self respecting muscle car should ever be automatic.

This last one is not a deal breaker, but it's a PITA to change if it didn't come stock: Power Windows, Mirrors, Locks (all matching manual lock tumblers for the Tops, hatch and doors), rear hatch release, 3rd break light in the spoiler.

I am willing to save up $2500-$3000 during the next 6-7 months, if this has a V8/5speed in decent condition with T-Tops, $2400 and under for a V6/5Speed in decent condition with T-Tops.

A rough running Camaro that could make it on a (no more than a 2 hour road trip back to Indianapolis) will not be turned away either. If it doesn't run, then I may shave the price willing to pay down to cover the rental of a 2 wheel car dolly from U-Haul, where them I may extend the location of travel distance to TN (Not to far south of Nash), MI (Lower), OH (West Central) , IL (East Central). I understand that these are getting harder to find, that is why I am willing to save up money over the next 6-7 months
