Title says 82-87, but i'd be fine with 88-92 also just not a v6

Hey guys, i'm in central IL. looking to buy my first camaro, i've always been excited to own one of these cars but financially am now only available to.

I'm looking to spend at max 2k, hoping it runs. I'm no mechanic, and i've never worked on cars but i really want to do my own mini project, please only minimal issues or fixer uppers.
Really really really prefer manual- hoping v8 (305 obviously) and paint i can do myself.

Hoping you guys can help a first timer out with this.
