Hello, Many moons ago I owned a 92z28 that I loved but life made me sell it. I am now looking to reup on that love. I would like a 87-92 z28.
It would be great if I can find a car close to St. Louis mo. (probably wont happen) I have a list of wants and don't wants...

Wants....
350 motor
tpi
t tops (not a deal breaker)
clean interior
turn key car

Don't want....
Rust
major body damage
trashed interior
ripped apart car

Paint blemishes are ok
mods are ok if correctly installed
not looking for a garage queen
budget $10k-$15kish with wiggle room

Unless it's modded the 350 won't be paired w a manual. So either a 305 manual car swapped to a 350 or a 350 car swapped to a stick. Most 350s w a manual at this point are either a t56 6 speeds or a tkx 5 speed. I'm sure there are 350 cars w a t5 manual but it's not ideal (I had one). It will work but only if used cautiously.

 

Thanks for that info. I did not know that engine / tranny combo was not a factory option. My old car was a 305 auto that I swapped the engine for a 350. Big diff.
I would be ok with a auto tranny. I will update thread, Thanks
