i took these pictures at an annual car show. there were a ton of cars but unfortunately only 4 3rd gens including mine.

no but they were all nice. one was a stock 87 black iroc. it was nice but 100% stock. then there was an 88 red iroc. it was stock except for some chrome irocs. then there was this 88 or 89 lime green/dark green iroc. it had the turbo hood like mine. it was really over the top. i liked it but the colors killed it. the same design but in different colors would have been nice. i wish i got pics of them.

 

anybody? what do you like or what don't you like? don't be shy.

 

Thats what I think of the IROC turbo hoods.

I like it. Someone local had a 2" cowl hood for a 3rd gen that I should have picked up a while back. My 86 has a standard hood. I've been looking a the crome single vein IROC wheels. - are those 16"s? I have an original set of 16s sitting in the garage, but they have some curb rash. I have a 88 IROC vert and a 86 Camaro. If I still have the vert next year, it should make it to some of the shows/cruise nights. It needs paint and a new top.

I like a car that holds a lot of the original scheme, but with some small modern touches. Just enough to make you have to take a double take to notice some of them. It's hard to beat the Iroc door emblems, and Iroc hood IMO. I like the new C6 wheels, the chrome 17-18" Irocs, and the original Irocs.
