Hey was just wondering who is from Montreal?
Montreal was once know as the Camaro/Firebird per capita king of the world! In the 70s and early 80s it seemed like everyone owned a Trans Am!!!
Any local gatherings or track events? I go to Napierville once and awhile(more this year)
We should get organized...unless I am the only one responding to the post, than I am already organized!!!
I have 1989, 1 Bro has a 77 & a 78 TA, the other Bro has an 81 Z28, I have a friend with an 80 Camaro (454), and a few other friends with 2002 Z28s (1 SS, 1 Zed, 1 convertible Zed)

hey how's it going. I currently live in Ottawa.
I drive a Black 89' Trans AM GTA with the 5.7 L98. she was built in Van Nuys Cali if I'm not mistaken.
car came with black leather interior and non digital dash. and of course the t-tops.
the car isn't in the best of shape but I might change that sometime soon. the previous owners put about 140.000 miles on her. when I bought the car I thought it was in kilometers. so I got royaly screwed up the ying yang.
for an old girl she still kicks some serious ***. all of my friends car have lost to her and I heard she was a mustang killer for the previous owner.
I might always consider getting another one that's in better shape. but those are hard to find.

Are you guys part of any organized club or anything like that? I know there is Montreal Fbody Association and a Toronto on as well.
We should get some more of us and get together, swap stories, ideas maybe parts!!!
I go to Napierville dragway pretty regular now. Running my GTA, my brothers 81 Zed and we have a 78 that we will bracket race this year.
You guys drag race at all?
