Changing an Electronic Dash, to Digital CAN IT BE DONE?

Car: 1986 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 2.8Lt V6
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Changing an Electronic Dash, to Digital CAN IT BE DONE?
Changing an Electronic Dash, to Digital CAN IT BE DONE?
I guess the answer is yes of course, if you tear out all of one, and drop in all of the other, but I am wondering if you can uses the circuit boards from the Electronic dash of an 86 Firebird, and change them to take Digital gauges, or even home made digial LED boards, that read what the electronic boards are putting out. If you can help, that would be super awesome.
