Hello everyone. I am a brand new member and am proud to introduce you all to my 1987 Trans am named RUBY. My wife and I bought her in March and don't really have much to do on it at the present time. The interior is in mint condition still and the exterior has been re-painted a few years ago. It has always been stored indoors and never winter driven. The wear and tear items have all been replaced by previous owner and I have upgraded the audio so for this year I am just going to enjoy the throaty sound of a V-8 again through a very soothing Flowmaster exhaust system. At some point in time I will post some pictures.

Thank you. I don't think the car originally came with it. The previous owner who had the re-paint done must have added it but it looks good so bonus for me.

Beautiful car fellow Canada's capital dweller!!! And I totally agree with dmccain, the hood bird is spectacular. You don't see many nice 3rd gens anymore, and that bird, where once may have got a shrug, has so much history and solidness to it now. I really like your car

Hi, they will indeed fit on a power bulge hood. Got mine from Phoenix Graphics.

That looks cool too!! Since Pontiac is gone, these birds all look soooo much better and better all the time now than they ever did. They looked cool before as well, just now they wave that Firebird flag that you can't miss.

Welcome to Thirdgen, great looking colour on your car, hope you both really enjoy it, I've been a member a little while and the advice/experience and info here on thirdgen.org is mind blowing. This site and the members within have more than helped me while fixing (or trying to fix I should say lol) up my 84 TA and it has just been amazing.
Enjoy
