i'm workin on building up my semi-budget setup. got all my speakers already in. crystal 3-way comps up front, crystal 6 1/2 coax in the sails, alpine type-r 12" dvc in custom box, ample audio a240x running the sub. now just need to save up for the ample a226x for the comps and the jvc sh909 deck. alesis 30x2 eq later down the road......

DRKTEALV6BRD... sounds great... i've heard those 8's pound pretty hard... wish i had about 2 10's in the back haha

Hey CAMp3RO I'm going with the same deck this summer... after the paintjob and rims... I love the look and everything... where's the cheapest you've found it? I found it on eBay for like $239 i think... I'm also buying the Alpine Type-R DVC 4-Ohm sub here as soon as my friends buys my sub and amp outta my car...

that sounds like the cheapest you will find it. crutchfield is $349, i kinda like to figure you can find it on the net about 50-100 cheaper. i havent seen too many sites with it for sale yet. i saw one of these in person a couple months ago. WOW. it was just beautiful. the pics dont do it justice. the specs (which i forgot offhand) are wonderful. you will not find a better deck in this price range. i'm choosing this over a nakamichi cd45z, so that should tell ya somethin.
