Is this possible?

I have a Sony CDXCA750 with Multi disc changer controls. I recently received a Sony 10 disc changer with the FM modulator from a friend of mine. Can I eliminate the FM modulator and connect the 10 disc directly to the back of my deck and use the multi disc changer controls? If so, what would I need to do to convert it?

i aint too positive, but I am leaning toward the negatice on this. I think they are in two totally different worlds. Converting it might even be more trouble than its worth. Sorry dude.

I am under the impression that when you buy a cd changer you get one of two models. Either the one with cd receiver controls or the one with the fm mod. I could be wrong though(it has happened once or twice).

Well, I answered my own question, I called a local sound shop and they said that if it was older than two years old, it is possible. I took a chance and pulled my deck and plugged in the audio cables and the remote cable, eliminating the FM module. It works perfectly . My CD changer controls are compatable as if they were meant to be together. All the functions work and the sound is better than if I was to use the FM module. All I need now is some subs and an amp, and I'll be all set.
