Help with hooking up my mp3 player

ok, so i have gotten rid of all the stock equipment, i have infinity refernce series in fronts and rears,*4x6s, and 6x9s) i have them hooked in to my MTX 2300 amp, one 4x6 and 1 6x9 in each channel so i'll have 2ohm stereo. i have all the speaker wire hooked up for them and in the process of hooking power and ground for amp,

anyways heres whre i am now
i have these 6wires that need to be hooked up from the wiring harness that came with my Kenwood KDC-MP8017

1)Power control wire---i hook this up to my amp. i know that

2)motor antenna control wire, ( i dont know, need to know this one)

3)Dimmer control wire( i dont know, need to know this one)

4)Ignition wire- hooks into fuse box somehow tell me please

5)battery wire-hooks into fuse box somehow tell me please

6)Ground wire, ground it to chassis i know that

i know this was a super long post sorry about that,. if anyone knows the answers to thos questions or sees something wrong with what i think i know tell me please

thanks in advance

hope this helps....I don't know if these are the answers you are looking for, but here it goes anyways:

2)motor antenna control wire, ( i dont know, need to know this one)
if you don't have a power antenna..you don't need to hook it up, just wrap it with some electrical tape and you'll be good to go.

3)Dimmer control wire( i dont know, need to know this one)
not sure, as all the head units ($200 or less ones) I've installed don't have this feature....

)Ignition wire- hooks into fuse box somehow tell me please
should already be there, just wire it up

5)battery wire-hooks into fuse box somehow tell me please
also should already be there, but if for some strange reason it's not (wasn't there in my old 84SC), just run a wire from the battery to the head unit (just like you did with your amp - only with smaller wire)

If your factory wiring harness is still in the car, it is well worth it to spend the $10 to buy a wiring harness. You can then match up the wires on the radio wiring harness to the wires on the wiring harness that you bought and plug it into the factory wiring harness. You can work on it on a bench and not in the car and you aren't destroying the factory wiring harness if you ever want to go back to the stock radio.

The dimmer switch controls the dimming of the radio when the lights are turned on. Since my camaro had an aftermarket when I bought it, I'm not sure if our cars have this function. I have never used it on any of the radios I have installed and have had no problems. Just tape it like the power antenna control and go from there.
