what do you guys think of orion amps for highs and mids, how clear are they. I can aquire one fairly cheap and if im correct they are really under rated

 

which series? The HCCA are very good. There is a woman in USACi, I believe Consumer 0-300 that is doing very well with them....so yeah, they are good.

 

i've been using the xtr pro 2400's for subs, and xtr 500.4 for the highs, very nice, I have that amp on two sets of Vega IT series 6 1/2" components...very nice..all I can say

Very good, hearing their amps and subs is what turned me on to systems many years ago.

This kid i worked with had a orion amp and a single 12" in a band pass in a maxima and that this hit like it was its job. Very nice stuff they make, and thier customer service is excellent.

i'm doing mid 150's with a camaro I just build with all orion amps, and HCCA woofers...and can only get louder :lala:

 

I have an xtreme 800.4 for my highs and a 900.2 for my bass. They have plenty of power and I'm really happy with them. My only problem is that an xtr 12 would rather not be in 1.5 cubic feet sealed. I need subs that better compliment my box. Anyway I really like this stuff and in my last car I had 2 225 HCCA's for my highs and a 250 HCCA to my subs. I think the HCCA stuff was cleaner and you could enter comps running a lot more power than you had to claim you were.
