Are the adire shiva 12's any good? how much power can they handle

of course it depends on application, but the rated spec for pmax is 375 per coil, or 650 total.. and adire makes great products

They are very good. I wouldn't send more than 400rms to one of them. They require fairly large boxes, but are very efficient. I imagine one with 400rms in a sealed box in a f-body would get good and loud.

if you can afford it, you might go with a brahma.. its not *too* much more, and the power handling is incredible (1600 rms), and the box size is tiny too (less than 1 ft^3)
