I think my old amp is hurting my audio performance. I want to run my speakers directly from the reciever. The amp is now in the storage area in the hatch. Where are the wires running from the reciever to the amp? in the roof? under the carpet? along the chasis?

The only way I have ever seen the wires ran through the car is through the kickpanels/door sills/rear interior quarter panels. but if I were you I'd just leave the wires there and tape 'em off, so that you can install another amp at a later point.
