got the bose premium kick panels, need help

I just swapped interiors w/ a friend and he had the bose premium speaker package, I got his kick panels and they have speakers in them, but the factory connector coming out of the speakers has a 4 plug setup

My question is is there any way I can hook them up to listen to them in my car w/ my exisiting setup wich is the 4x6 dash and 6x9 rear w/ a nappy rampage cd player.

There's lots and lots on this. Quick background. Each speaker has a little tiny amp in it. The four wires are a power wire for the amp, a ground wire for the amp, and then the two speaker wires. They hook up the same as any other speaker off the HU. There is a 12V source in your fuse block that says radio and has a little arrow pointing to it. Use a male spade connector and plug the hot side for the amps in there. Then run a ground wire to any metal spot on the dash. There should already be some ground wires uner there. Use big fat 8 gauge or better wire for the B+ and the ground or else you lose mid range sound when you have it cranked and the bass hits. If you have any ?s email or PM me and I'll get you a color code when I get home.

The BOSE system will not interface with a regular stereo without some type of interface....... I had the same problem when I installed the BOSE system in my car.

I could use the kick panels if you decide to sell them..... Let me know.

Well, probably not that big, but big fat wire never hurt anything. Bose WILL work with aftermarket stereo, you just have to understand it. It works on my eclipse HU. You need both ends of the connector unless you feel brave enough to cut the connector off and wire it up. You can run your 4x6 and 6x9 in parallel with the bose, but the bose is a lot louder, unless you put a resister in the bose speaker wire, not the power wire. You HU needs to be stable at 2 ohms too, but if it doesn't blow the power fuse to the HU then I wouldn't worry about it. I was set up like that for a long time with no adverse effects.
