Amp suggestions for 2 Infinity Kappa 10" DVC
Amp suggestions for 2 Infinity Kappa 10" DVC
I just bought a nice box with these two subs in it from ziggy89formula. He's a cool guy and I'd buy stuff from him again. Anyway, I'm looking for a good amp to power these subs in stereo, with the DVCs in parallel. Any suggestions, and how would I set up the amp to do this? Thanks
Thanks for the kind words Casey!
I'll reiterate my previous recommendation of Alpine. Also I've heard alot of guys say good things about JBL amps' price/performance ratio.
I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but your going to want a two channel amp (not a mono sub amp) if you keep the subs wired how they are currently.
If you disconnect one voice coil on each sub, then you can wire the subs parallel for a 2-ohm load out of a 4-ohm mono amp.
Good luck and keep me updated!

hi,
im gonna throw my vote in for the infinity kappa 202a amp,it is rated at 200x2@4ohms,or 300x2@2ohms,i run mine bridged 600x1@4ohm,and splice the wires out to 2 kappa perfects, and WOW,they really sound great.
